Hachiro wandered over towards the tribe that Tatiana came from. He wanted to visit her, as he hadn't seen her in a while, and, though he didn't want to admit it, he missed her. As he walked, the buildings of the capital came into view, and, not only that, a figure walking towards him. He halted, unsure if he would be attacked. Villagers were unpredictable, and the two tribes weren't on the best of terms.
This wasn't an ordinary villager. Most of the people in the Earth Tribe weren't. Mi-cha walked around the plaza with her fancy robes she wore, being a princess and all. The princess's brown hair flowed behind her, hair pins holding the gray-brown strands back. She noticed someone nearby, an odd looking person with white hair. She walked over to him, pausing as he seemed to notice her.
"Hello--ah!" Mi-cha tripped over a tiny pebble, falling on the ground. "A-ah! I'm sorry!" she cried out, her cheeks flushing with embarrassment.
Hachiro watched as the girl came closer, tripping over a pebble. "That's alright. Are you okay?" He inquired, removing his hand from the hilt of his sword as he moved towards her in case she needed assistance. He knew of the princess, knew her name even, but he had no idea what she looked like. However, the girl before him was very nicely dressed. "If you wouldn't mind telling me, who are you?"
Mi-cha shook her head, standing up. She brushed her robes off, giving a sigh. She couldn't believe that she tripped! How embarrassing."Hmm? Oh, I'm Mi-cha." she said, her voice perkier. "Who are you? I don't think you live around here."
Hachiro blinked. "Mi-cha? The princess? Tatiana told me about you," he replied. "Speaking of her, have you seen her around?" He inquired. "Oh, right! Excuse my rudeness. I'm Hachiro, water tribe leader."
Mi-cha frowned, putting her hands on her hips. "I don't think there's another Mi-cha around here." she muttered. She lost her annoyed air and shrugged. "I don't know where Tatiana is. I never know where she is. I'm pretty sure she avoids me." The princess shrugged. "The Water Tribe? Why are you here, if I may ask?"
Hachiro shrugged. She did avoid Mi-cha, he knew that for a fact. However, so far, the princess seemed... maybe a little full of herself? Tatiana had called her brain dead. She didn't catch onto that? "I was looking for Tatiana," he answered, giving her a small smile. "If I may ask, were you the heir to the throne? Before we all collected into separate groups?"
Mi-cha gave a small sigh. She was always asked this question. "I am the heir to the throne. But, I need a husband to become the king. Therefore, the throne is empty." she replied, taking out a fan to fan herself with. It was always a bit warm in the plaza because of the bustling of people. "I have a sister, but she's not old enough to take the throne. Or to be married. Before there's a queen, there needs to be a king."
He nodded. "Ah, I see," he eyed her fan. He couldn't help but be surprised that she hadn't found anyone to marry yet. She was pretty enough, but she was the heir to the throne. He'd think men would be scrambling to we'd with her. "No luck yet?"
Mi-cha flicked the fan with quick flicks of her wrist. She saw him looking at it. "Do you want it?" she asked, holding it out. The princess sighed, closing her eyes with a frown. "There's many men who want my hand in marriage. But, I just don't like any of them. I want a guy that I like to marry me. None of them cut it, at least not yet. It's obvious that they want the throne."
Hachiro shook his head. "That's alright. I don't think I'd look ver manly with a fan," he gave her a good-natured grin. "It looks better when you have it." Her words didn't surprise him this time. "I can understand that. No one wants to marry someone they don't truly love, especially if the other party only wants you for wealth - or, in this case, the throne." He replied. "I'm sure you'll find someone to marry soon enough. With all those men that, I suspect, follow after you like ducklings, there's bound to be one honorable man."
Mi-cha drew the fan back towards herself. She shrugged, flicking her wrists again to give herself the air. "Well, maybe. I don't know, though. The men do look ravishing, but I just don't like how they act. You know what I mean?" She rolled her brown eyes at the thought. "They can be rude or guilt-trip you. What has this world come to!"
"I do. It sounds much like the men in my tribe, whom were looking to marry my mother. She was very beautiful, and they would do much the same, even though she was married," he shrugged at the memory. It wasn't necessarily a pleasant one, but it was a memory. "I'm sorry about that. If there was anything I could do, I would. For anyone. It's very unpleasant."
Mi-cha just smiled, shaking her head. "It is alright. I can figure this out myself. what about you? Any ladies interested in marrying you? I'm sure everyone would want to marry a leader. What an honor they'd think." She didn't know how things worked in the tribes, never really leaving the Earth Tribe.
Hachiro shrugged, giving a small laugh. "Not that I know of, no," he replied, his mind wandering towards Tatiana. "I think it's more common for men to do that then women. Sure, they flirt with me here and there, but it's not as if they're full out asking me to marry them," he shrugged. "i'd have to be the one to propose."
