Nam placed a hand under his chin, he looked deep in thought. His gaze searched the marketplace. He was looking for some cheap weapons but it looked like the first few places only sold food. He grabbed an apple and inspected the fruit for any bruises. He paid the merchant and continued strolling and glancing at the shops.
He was wearing a cloak with a hood. If anyone knew he was here and from the Lightning Tribe they may not react well, especially if they knew he was the dragon of said tribe.
He took a bite of the apple and continued his search.
The Fire Tribe leader was out and about in the village. Everything seemed to be going well. It bothered the leader that it was a little too peaceful. But, maybe that wasn't so bad. It just worried her that her enemies could be planning something big. She had to be ready for anything that came her way. Haku had to wake up early to get a head start on things.
After she scouted around the village and up and down the streets, she found herself in the market place. The marketplace looked good so far... until she spotted a cloaked figure passing by. She spun around on her heels and pointed at the man. "Hold it right there!" she said in a stern tone, hoping the suspicious passerby would stop. If he/she didn't, Haku would have to use force.
Hearing that phrase Nam smiled softly. He turned around and glanced at Haku. "What exactly seems to be the issue?" He tilted his head. "If you're referring to the apple, I paid for it." A laugh was audible and the boy removed the hood of his cloak.
"Nah, I bet I've been found out, huh? He had a wide smile on his face, it seemed mostly innocent and gentle. "You are a perceptive one, Missy. Spotting a hoodlum out of the crowd, Bravo!" He clapped slowly.
"Are you going to throw me in the slums? That'd wouldn't be to nice though I have a tribe to return to." He crossed his arms and shook his head. "Plus I'm no easy one to nab."
Haku grinned to herself and nodded, respecting that the stranger had stopped to listen to what she had to say. "I am not one to judge, but I find the cloak to be a little unnecessary, don't you think?" She understood if the man had his reasons for wearing the cloak. It was still distracting and it made him look suspicious. It would be best for the man and Haku both if she had caught him instead of someone else that would take the situation a little too far.
Her red eyes blinked at the boy who had removed the hood of his cloak. The man looked like he resembled a samurai warrior. He said something about his identity being found out. "Oh, well, I was just going to ask for you to state your name and business here... but that works too." Her gaze softened and she smiled softly, shaking her head. "No, not at all. However, I would like to accompany you while you are looking around. You know, just in case you feel like trying anything to harm my tribe."
He turned towards her with a laugh. "I do look suspicious don't I?" He shrugged his shoulders and a small smile was planted on his face. "Either way I'd stick out like a sore thumb. I'm not just another pretty face." He joked with a sheepish grin forming.
"So it was a little more necessary then you would think." He tilted his head and listened to her speak. Nam crossed his arms and shook his head. "You can call me Nam-"
When she mentioned him potentially harming her tribe he somehow broke out into a small fit of laughter. "I'll try to contain my violent urges!" He rubbed the back of his head.
"I don't particularly find interest in your tribe. I'm just looking to restock on some items. But alright, have it your way. You're no bother to me." He turned around and continued his stroll, expecting her to follow.
Ha ha. No kidding. Of course, he looked suspicious. Obviously, the man didn't have a fear of light or a skin disease because he removed the hood of his cloak. That wasn't the case then. Haku rolled her eyes playfully and glanced back at him. What was up with men bragging about their good looks? Well, he was quite handsome... "And, I'm Hakunai. I prefer Haku, though." There was no need to state her rank. That wasn't something she liked to flash around.
Also, it would be odd for her to reveal that to a stranger. Someone she didn't know. When she mentioned something about him possibly wanting to harm her tribe, Nam had laughed at her. Haku blushed hard and stopped walking, glaring at Nam. "W-What! What did I say that is so funny?" Her cute, slightly chubby cheeks puffed up with air and she huffed, looking down and blushing with embarrassment. The leader huffed again and started to walk off, reminding herself to slow down so she could still keep an eye on him.
"So, you haven't found anything to suit your liking then?"
"Alright Haku it is then." He shrugged. He could of went ahead and asked what title she held, obviously she was potentially someone important if she felt authority to halt him in the middle of the market. No regular tribe member would do that, would they? He wasn't entirely sure. But he didn't find it really important and felt no interest in asking.
When she stopped walking he walked forward a few steps then stopped. He turned around slowly and glanced back at her. His head tilted in curiosity. "Nothing." He gave a sly smile. He found her possible earlier accusations of him harming her tribe somehow comical. Mostly because that was the last thing that'd be on his list.
"Hmm.." He placed his hand under his chin. "Who knew. You're kinda cute when you're mad." He lifted his hands in a shrugging motion and turned back around, not paying much heed to his own comment.
"Not yet." He continued walking. "This tribe's shops are different from the Lightning and Water Tribes' shops."

There ya go! Nam was making it on the Fire Tribe leader's good side. It was all because he called her by her nickname. The girl tilted her head a little to the side and frowned. Nam was a strange, young man. That kind of disturbed her, but she couldn't judge others like that. No doubt, Ryuuki had plenty of stories to tell about Haku. Her personality was overall complicated and strange.
She was a good person, no matter how other people wanted to interpret her attitude sometimes. Haku continued to walk on, and she opened her mouth to protest. Nam had called her cute! Kinda cute but still... She stopped in the middle of her protest and grew quiet, knowing that she didn't have anything good enough to say back in retaliation. "I-I'm not... cute." The leader sighed to herself and raised her head up high, walking a little bit ahead of Nam by a step or two.
"This tribe's shops are different from the Lightning and Water Tribes' shops." That had caught her attention. Of course, she wanted to hear something good about her tribe. His opinion probably wouldn't have mattered anyway. "Oh, really? And, which tribe might you have come from?"
Nam turned and looked back at her. His laugh was calm but still audible. "That's funny. That's the same thing I said when someone called me cute too." He turned back. He recalled Min-seo had been teasing him and he was getting flustered and she had called him cute, he kept angrily insisting he wasn't.
"All the tribes have interesting items, they are all just a lot different. The earth tribe seems to have more weaponry." He shrugged.
"Just a humble Lightning Tribe member, Miss. Nothing really special here." He shrugged.
Haku growled underneath her breath because she wasn't walking ahead of Nam. She picked up her pace and came up to his side, walking next to him. The two walked a little close and that made the girl inch away a little bit. Everyone needed their personal space. Nam said something about it being funny that he told someone the same thing when they called him cute. It wasn't that funny. Most guys don't like to be referred as "cute".
But, he probably thought it was funny that she, a girl, refused to be called cute. That would be a compliment for some girls but not Haku. Nam went on and started talking about the tribes and their different items in stock. "So, you came from the Lightning Tribe? I'm fairly new as a leader so I haven't been to the other tribes nor do I know much about them and the leaders." Haku continued to look ahead of herself and walk, unaware that she blurted out that she was the leader of the Fire Tribe.
Nam stopped walking and and raised a brow. "I thought you were someone important. But I didn't have much interest to ask. But I see..." He continued walking "So you're the top dog here." Nam didn't seem very bothered or phased. He had chatted with the water tribe leader not too long ago. It seemed he had now met all the leaders.
He didn't have any issues with tribe leaders. His problem was with royalty and nobles. Complicated past problems made him grow a certain dislike for them. "I guess you were so kind as to share your title- or maybe it was an accident, so I guess I'll return the favour."
He crossed his arms. "Mother always said fair exchange." He added. "I am Nam Yong-sun. I'm from the Lightning Tribe, I am the yellow dragon." His smile was calm.
Wait... How did he know that? Maybe it was an instinct kind of thing."So you're the top dog here." The raven-haired girl shrugged her shoulders as if it was no big deal. Ranks didn't matter to her all that much. Even if you were an even higher rank and you lowered yourself due to your actions or words, she would call you out on it. Haku laughed to herself nervously and nodded.
Yeah, sure she wasn't trying to hide her rank... Let's go with that. Nam said that his mother told him it was always a fair exchange. Huh, he wasn't so bad especially if he reminded himself of the teachings his parents had taught him. He had good manners, too. The only way he went wrong was when he called her cute. Haku was a little caught off-guard. He was one of the tribe dragons?
"Oh, um... Yes. Nice to meet you, too, yellow dragon."
He blinked. "You said you were fairly new as the leader, no?" He glanced at her. "Congrats on the position." Nam had probably caught her off guard with the announcement of his title. It wasn't unusual for that to happen.
It's a pleasure." He kept walking and a small silence seemed to fall. He didn't know what else to say. Probably not something stupid after he found out who she was.
"Wanna see something?" He wanted to bring things on a lighter note. There were deep pockets on the inside of his cloak and he pulled out two small cats. "Tah-dah! It's like a magic trick, but without the magic." He grinned.
"Thank you." Haku hoped she would be a good leader to her tribe. People doubted putting her in the position of a leader since she tended to be a bit reckless sometimes. Her fiery personality was judged critically by many, but she was going to show them that she could do it. Her red gaze shifted onto the man and she blinked at him curiously.
"Um... Sure." she said in an unsure way.
What was he going to show her? Haku gripped the handle of her katana and almost pulled it out at the time Nam pulled out two small cats from his cloak. What the heck? They are cats... She sighed with relief and let her hands fall to her side, smiling at Nam. She glanced between the two cats and blushed a little.
They were.. kind of... cute. The leader looked at the expression on Nam's face as he introduced his cats to her. Nam was cute.. Haku looked at the cats again and smiled sweetly. "Heheh~ Hello, Yoon. Hello, Joon. It's a pleasure to meet you both."
