The village square seemed to be peaceful and running smoothly throughout the morning. A window was open in the Fire Tribe leader's room, and the thin, white curtains flowed gently with the light breeze whistling by. Loud laughter could be heard from the village square. The raven-haired girl sat up in her bed, rubbing the fatigue out of her crimson red eyes. Hakunai, or Haku, crawled out of bed and walked up to her cheval mirror. Her reflection stared back at her sleepily. Her pajamas weren't fancy or anything special. It was a brown fleece shirt and brown pants with pink leopard print. The sound of children's laughter caught her attention. It wasn't that she disliked the sound. She actually enjoyed it.
Haku made her way over to the open window and blocked the sun with her hand, looking out to the village. There were children playing in the streets again. The girl sighed and rested her elbow on the window sill and her chin rested on the palm of her hand. Her head tilted to the side and a small smile appeared on her face as she watched the children from afar. Haku reached out and grabbed the knobs on the double window, pulling it in to close it. She hurried up and got herself dressed, brushed her teeth, and brushed her hair... The morning routine.
Her black hair was pulled up into a ponytail with a red ribbon, she wore a short, black dress and black boots. Before you knew it, she grabbed her katana and ran out the door. Haku was on her way to the village square until she had bumped into someone. That nearly knocked the wind out of her! She stumbled backwards and thankfully, regained her balance and stood there with wide eyes. She was shocked but shook it off, laughing nervously. "I-I'm so sorry for that." Haku knew that she was in the wrong to be running around like a chicken that had gotten it's head cut off. A deep blush appeared across her face when she realized who she was apologizing to. "Eh!? R-R-Ryuuki-chan?" |

Ugh... the male sat up and yawned rubbing his eyes. He looked around and then himself got dressed as he made his way out of his house. He wanted to visit the new tribe leader, so he was going to. The male made his way over toward her place and groaned when someone bumped into her.
"A-AH!" He cried and then looked down holding down a hand to help the female up. "W-Wait. Haku!? Hakunai took the man's hand and stood up, brushing off her clothes. It didn't bother her if some grass got on her, but why not brush it off if you could? The girl frowned at Ryuuki, and she placed her right hand on the handle of her katana. She remembered that she used to chase Ryuuki around town with her katana whenever she took something he said wrong or if he was just being plain stupid in front of her. Sometimes she felt like he did it on purpose so she would chase after him. Eh.. That was then. This is now. "Yes, it's me." she groaned in pain from the fall. She landed right on her bum! "So, where were you headed?" |

His eyes widened as he saw her put her hand on her cantata "A-AH! Now.. Now Haku, don't you go chasing me again you know what villagers use to think!" he cried out and then he pushed his glasses up. "I was on my way to visit the new fire tribe leader, I assume you just are leaving? Have you met her?" he asked. Little did he know, he was in fact talking to the leader her self. A slight grin appeared on her face and there was a playful sparkle in her eyes. Ryuu knew what that meant. Haku was glad because she knew Ryuu was scared of her. He wouldn't dare try to do anything foolish. He knew she would get him back. She blinked at Ryuu and giggled to herself when Ryuu didn't know that she was the new leader of the Fire Tribe. "Actually, I do know her very well.. She is me." |

The male looked at her and backed up in ready to run. He looked at her and pursed his lips together and then stood there shock in his dark blue eyes. "W-Wha!? Hakunai?! Your the new leader of Fire Tribe.. oh I've made a fool of myself.. heh I'm so sorry Hakunai.." she whispered. He looked down at her and blushed feeling stupid. "I'm sorry.." "Urrrghh.. Ryuuki-chan, don't call me Hakunai! Call me Haku." Hakunai sounded more girly, though. It didn't matter. Haku liked to be called Haku. Or, Hak. Ryuuki-chan suddenly went into a blushing fit. A big grin appeared on her face as she watched his reaction when she told him the news. Yeah, you didn't expect that, did ya? She shook her head and simply waved it off. "Nah, it's okay. You didn't know. Even if I am, we will still be equal. Just think of me as Haku, your friend." she reminded him and smiled. |

Hakunai sighed and nodded, accepting her whole name sometimes. Apparently, Ryuuki-chan had trouble saying her nickname. It didn't make much sense to her since it was a nickname. It was supposed to be short and easy to say. Ryuuki-chan's reaction was amazing. She liked teasing people and seeing their expressions. Some reactions were priceless! Hakunai tried not to giggle but she failed. "I.. I'm sorry! You are just so cute when you blush like that. Who knew your face could get so red, Ryuuki-chan~!"

Aw~ Ryuuki-chan must have forgotten that she liked to tease him. If he never reacted to her teasing, she would give up. Of course, she would be mad if he didn't react at all and she would think he was no fun. Hakunai put her hands on her hips and frowned, tilting her head. "No... Let's talk about something else. Is there a lucky girl that you like?"
