"Nice twirl~" he cooed and they had joined hands again. Mi-cha was a good dancer. She must have had some dancing lessons as a little girl. That was what he would imagine. Most royalty treasured dancing and hosting big parties. Oi... He couldn't see himself living that kind of life. It would be more than necessary. Seung continued to sway back and forth with Mi-cha. The dance was smooth and slow. Mi-cha's humming was starting to make him feel like taking a nap. "Ah, I see. I am glad to hear that I'm doing something right."
Mi-cha gave a small laugh. "Thank you." The princess felt like time had frozen. Everything around them was gone. It was just her dancing with Seung. She was never the one for dancing, but while she danced with him, it felt like one of the most fun experiences she's had in a while.
"Well, nothing you do is wrong. Not from what I've observed." She stopped humming, smiling at the man. She gave a small sigh to herself. "You're quite the dancer, though. I am glad that we have this dance."
Ah, that was good. Seung didn't want to appear to be a complete failure to the princess. That would be embarrassing. Mi-cha's humming had faded away and that made him a little sad. Her voice was lovely. It was like being called by your name. The most beautiful thing you could hear. "Why thank you, princess." he snickered and continued to look into Mi-cha's sparkling brown eyes. Seung sighed to himself and danced on the floor with Mi-cha at a slow and constant pace.
"It is a shame, really. I will have to leave and the fun has just started. But, I'm sure you will make a lovely queen of Yoso." There was a pause and he was still smiling as he danced with her. He leaned in a little bit closer and grinned. "Who is the lucky guy who holds the dear princess's heart.. hm?"
Mi-cha rolled her eyes at him, but a smile was still on her face. "Seung." she said in a playful scolding voice, shaking her head with a laugh. The brown-haired princess gave a small sigh at his comment, a downcast look on her face. "If you wish to stay, you can stay as long as you would like. You're welcomed here. And, thank you. I hope I will be."
As he leaned in closer, she blushed, losing her breath for a moment. "I-I don't really have anyone right now. Though, I think I may know a certain guy that could steal it. Maybe he already is. What about you, Seung?"
Seung blinked his green eyes at her, wondering what that stern yet playful scolding was for. His grin grew bigger and he winked at her. "Yep! That's my name." he said and chuckled. Mi-cha used her sweet voice to say his name. It certainly was music to his ears. Seung gripped her hand gently as he lead her in the dance. "If you wish to stay, you can stay as long as you would like. You're welcomed here." Mi-cha was leaving herself wide open.
"You would want to rethink that. I might actually take you up on that offer." Seung was teasing her, but he knew that it wouldn't be true. He had to return home to the Lightning Tribe. If I liked it here enough, I probably could stay... forever. That's if the Earth Tribe would accept a Lightning Tribe descendant into their own tribe. All he would need was Mi-cha. Not for the palace but for company as friends. If he could stay there, he would work toward getting his own place and continue on with his life from there.
"I-I don't really have anyone right now. Though, I think I may know a certain guy that could steal it. Maybe he already is. What about you, Seung?""Oh~? So, there might be a guy that will steal your heart... And, me? No, I don't have a special lady at the moment. I hope to find one someday, though. That would be nice."
Mi-cha just laughed at him. "It would be a pleasure to have you live here. Everyone would accept you. I'll make sure of that." she said, nodding. She felt his hand grip hers more firmly as he led her in the dance again. Since they had begun talking, it was harder to add in music. So, instead, she thought of it, her mind filling with the sweet waltzing notes that she would hear at parties her father had hosted.
The princess listened to him speak, giving a nod. "I know there's a girl out there somewhere. There's always someone that is made for you. Someone who can take any stupidities or problems you have. I sure know that my husband will have to deal with me falling on my face everyday." she said, giving a tiny laugh.
Mi-cha was almost surprised that she hadn't really fallen any today. It'll probably happen somewhere. Most of the maidens had tried to clear the floor of anything that could trip her, but she seemed to trip anyway.
Wow. Mi-cha could see right through him. That was a tough decision for him. If he was happy there, maybe he could stay. It wouldn't hurt anyone. It wasn't like he knew anyone in the Lightning Tribe. They didn't even know that he existed. The dance started to be difficult for Seung to keep up with. All of the talking wasn't matching their movements. It was kind of throwing Seung off balance every now and then. He thought about what Mi-cha said.
"You know, you're right, Mi-cha. Ha ha. I'm sure there is a lady out there for me.. as there will be a man for you."
Seung smiled at Mi-cha and started to hum his own little tune to fill in for the music. Hm... It should be about time we stop. We have all day, but I'm sure Mi-cha would like to show me more of the palace. He knew that he would want to learn more about the tribes and the kingdom. His dancing started to slow down, giving Mi-cha a hint that the dance was close to coming to an end.
Mi-cha just nodded as he gave a small tune, slowing down with Seung. She closed her eyes to cherish the last few moments of the dance before coming to a stop, taking one hand off his shoulder. Her right hand still clasped his left as she took a small curtsy.
"Thank you for a lovely dance, Seung. I enjoyed it." She was almost sad that the dance was over. It was so relaxing, taking her mind off the duties that she had. "Shall we go explore the palace further?" She had his hand still, not wanting to yank it away.
Seung nodded to Mi-cha, backing away from her to give a slight bow so they wouldn't bump heads. He was still holding her hand, but he didn't bother to say anything about it. I'm kind of afraid if I don't tell her, she'll figure it out later and scream like she did before. My gods, they would think I was trying to hurt her or something." The man gulped and tried to slowly pull his hand away from hers. "Yes, Mi-cha. You are very welcome." he said in a gentle voice and smiled at her. He calmed himself and decided to go along with it. If she screamed and pulled away, then it would just happen. Seung gave Mi-cha's hand a light squeeze and nodded. "Lead the way, princess."
Mi-cha could feel him trying to pull his hand away from hers, and she just about dropped it. Then, she felt him squeeze her hand, making her grasp it lightly, almost like it was a polite thing to do. She just shook her head with a laugh at him calling her princess before walking.
The gardens weren't far from the ballroom. It was placed there to make the guests see the beauty of the palace. She stopped there, swooping her free arm in front of them. "Here's our gardens. They're managed by our tribe leader, Tatiana."
