(I didn't know where to put this since Seung is staying in a room in the palace.)
The tired warrior slept soundly in the guest room. It was a good night's sleep. Seung looked so peaceful as he slept. He was laying on his right side. The door knob started to twist and turn to open. He rolled over onto his back and his right arm flung over his face. The door opened and Seung sat up in the bed, rubbing his eyes. His dark green gaze glanced over to see the princess standing in the doorway. "Oh... Good morning, Mi-cha." he greeted and tried to force a small smile. It was just too early in the morning. Or, it felt like it was.
Mi-cha had been anxious all night. She had hardly gotten any sleep at all. So, at the first site of dawn, the princess had rushed from her room, standing in front of his room. She was still in her sleep robes, her hair quite tasseled. She twisted the nob, opening the door to see Seung still in bed. He looks tired.
"Hello. I think breakfast is ready." She had to make up an excuse. Hopefully the breakfast would actually be ready.
Seung rubbed his eyes again to rub the fatigue out of them. His gaze had effortlessly landed on Mi-cha. Suddenly, he was staring at her in thought of going back to sleep. His body started to lean over and he startled himself. It was only certain that it made him fall onto the floor. He groaned and picked himself up, fixing his clothes. "U-Uh.. Thank you, Mi-cha." His eyelids felt very heavy and he tried to shake it off, rubbing his eyes again. He chuckled nervously and smiled at her but his smile was a little crooked. "I-I'm sorry. Just so tired... How did you sleep, princess?"
Mi-cha watched as he fell over. She scrambled over to him, stopping, but he had already picked himself up. "You should have let me return the favor." she murmured, giving a small smile. She shook her head. "I told you not to call me princess." She crossed her arms, shrugging. "I slept fine." she lied. She rubbed her eyes before stretching, walking towards the door. "Do you want to change? You can always eat in whatever you're wearing."
Seung laughed at what Mi-cha had said. That would be quite the sight. The clumsy princess helping up a rather balanced man. The morning was killing him, though. It was making him a little on edge. Her smile reassured him that she wasn't upset with him. Then, she sounded a bit irritated when he called her princess. Seung enjoyed calling her princess but if that's what she wished. "I slept fine."
That was good. Mi-cha needed her sleep more than him, anyway. She had princess things to do while he was staying in her palais(palace). "Oh.. yes. I would like to change. If I don't do it right away, I know it will be harder for me to want to get dressed later."
Mi-cha just gave him a grin as she closed the door behind her, leaning silently against it. She sighed, feeling like she could fall asleep on the spot. She moved away just in case he came pushing out. The princess leaned against the wall instead, her white nightgown feeling like a blanket around her. Her eyes were shut, and she heard a door closing, jerking awake.
Seung chuckled to himself and walked over to his luggage, stretching out his arms and letting out a yawn. It took about ten minutes for him to freshen up for breakfast. The door knob turned and he walked out, closing the door behind him. He presented himself in front of Mi-cha with messy, dark brown hair that almost looked black, his navy blue outfit, black combat boots, and a belt around his waist that held his katana. Seung flashed a charming smile at the princess and walked up to her. "I'm ready now. Lead the way, Mi-cha." he said and gestured for her to go ahead and lead the way.
Mi-cha took a quick glance at him before nodding, standing straight. She walked away from the room to the dining area, pushing open those doors. She made her way to the seat she usually sat in, close to the one by the end of the table that was her father's. Food sat in front of her.
The dark-haired man followed the brunette through the palace. They ended up in the dining room for breakfast. Walking into the dining room, he could smell the delicious aromas coming from the kitchen. Oh, he could just taste it in his mouth! His jaws dropped and he began to drool a little bit. Seung snapped out of it and wiped away the drool, laughing slightly to himself.
That was embarrassing.. He looked to Mi-cha, but she had already left his side to sit in one of the seats close to her father's. Seung didn't know that, though. He walked up to the table and pulled out a chair next to Mi-cha. "You don't mind if I sit next to you, do you?" he asked and smiled at her.
Mi-cha pulled the napkin from the table and smoothed it on her lap. She looked over at Seung as he sat down beside her. "It's an open seat. Feel free." She gave him a smile back, turning back in front of her.
She reached for the rice bow, moving some rice onto her small rice bowl. She also poured in some soup, putting her hands together. She silently prayed to bless her food before opening her eyes, reaching for her chopsticks. "What do you want to drink?" she asked.
Mi-cha was acting so proper and right. It intimidated Seung a little. Did he have to do that too? Even if he did, he would probably copy how Mi-cha did it. Seung sat down in the seat next to hers and looked at the food in front of him. It looked so good! It made his mouth water like before. I'm so... hungry! He tried to maintain himself as he watched the princess grab the food she wanted.
Mi-cha had already put some food in her bowl and started to pray. Seung put his hands together and prayed as well. The prayer ended and that's when he started to reach out for the soup and rice to put in his bowl. "Green tea would be just fine."
Mi-cha nodded, leaning over the table for the pot. She held the heavy pot with one hand, her muscles straining. It slipped on the table, some of the tea pouring on her. She lifted the pot up, wincing. The princess put her face in her hands, standing up. "I-I'll be right back."
She scurried away, running into her room. She closed the door, changing from her bed wear into her clothes for the day. Mi-cha walked back, seeing her seat had been cleaned by someone. She sat down, putting her hands on her legs. They still burned from the tea. "Here you go." she murmured, moving the pot closer to him.
"M-Mi-cha!" he exclaimed and stood up immediately from his seat. That had to be hot tea! Seung looked at her with a worried expression on his face. Was she alright? Before he knew it, Mi-cha stood up and hurried out of the dining room. Oh... Mi-cha.. He wanted to go after her but that would probably make her feel worse about it. While Mi-cha was changing her clothes, Seung helped the maids clean up the table. The double doors opened and he turned his attention to whom was entering the room.
It was Mi-cha. She had sat back down next to him and moved the pot towards him. "Erm.. thank you." He took the pot and held it carefully by the handle with both hands. Certainly, he did not want to pour burning hot tea on himself or the princess. Seung set it back in the middle of the table and looked to Mi-cha. "That tea was hot, Mi-cha... Are you alright?" he asked with concern and suddenly piped up.
"I have some cream for burns. If you can wait until we're done with breakfast, I'll go get it for you. It really works and just in a matter of seconds or maybe a minute."
Mi-cha just nodded, staring at her bowls. "I'm fine." she murmured. She reached for her bowl of rice, quietly beginning to eat it while he spoke. The princess just nodded. "Thank you."How many times am I going to embarrass myself in front of him? Gods, I wish I wasn't so clumsy.
She finished her rice, moving onto the soup. Once she finished that, she looked back at Seung. "When we finish, I can show you around. Then we can get the burn cream." Mi-cha reached to pull her hair back, putting in a few pins to hold it out of her face. She blinked her brown eyes as the boy, standing up.
Seung ate the rice but didn't touch the soup until a little bit later. The soup sounded good after he had finished the rice. The tea and the soup would be able to keep him awake. It was quiet as they fed their faces with the rice and soup. Seung set his chopsticks down and leaned back slightly in his chair, letting out a sigh. His eyes closed for a while until Mi-cha spoke. When she spoke to him, he peeked at her by opening his left eye. "Hm.. Sounds like a good idea."
He rubbed his face with his hands and ran his hands through his dark hair. Mi-cha stood up from her chair and he looked up at her. Oh, she was ready to go...? Seung rose up to his feet and stepped to the side, pushing his chair toward the table. "I'm ready when you are. Would you like to come with me now to get the burn cream? I wouldn't think you would be comfortable walking around without them being treated."
