"it was night, and the rain fell; and falling, it was rain, but, having fallen,
it was blood."
"Hey! Don't touch my daggers, these are my little brothers!" she hissed and twirled one around chucking it at a wall and looked at him. "Its not my fault I kill its the only thing I know what to do. I never was taught anything else." she said putting the dagger back in the loop as she looked at him and then grinned.
"That is also my job, to piss people off." she said and then sat back down in front of him putting her hands on his. "But that is no matter. You are in much deep of a hell. I want to help you out of it, is there any way to?" she asked.
"Then you should go back to school." Hak glanced at the bars of the window. The sky had begun to darken. Soon it would be nighttime.
He was startled when she put her hands on his. "I'm quite alright." he said, standing up. The tall man walked to the window, thinking. He called the guards back, who brought him his fixed rob and a few blankets. He shrugged his robe back on, tossing the blankets on the ground. "It gets cold at night." he said.
"it was night, and the rain fell; and falling, it was rain, but, having fallen,
it was blood."
"Ick! You mean I'm staying here over night?!" she asked and then looked at the blankets and sighed. "Well thank you for at least bringing these. But you must rest in your bed. Have your guards watch me for the night. I would feel awkward having a guy sleep in the same room as me, last time I did was with a boy I thought I loved but he tried killing me in my sleep." she said as she sat in a corner and then looked at him and then gave a grin.
True, Hak had said he would stay no matter what. But, he had ordered many guards to surround the jailhouse, even if it looked like a few. He was halfway to the door when she called his name again. He leaned down, picking up his weapon. "What is it?"
"it was night, and the rain fell; and falling, it was rain, but, having fallen,
it was blood."
"I'm just giving you crap about staying here. I kinda like it in the Earth tribe. Its been nice spending my afternoon with you." she said a half smile spreading across her left cheek and then she looked down with a sigh as she wrapped the blankets around her and put the hood of her cloak on her head as she nodded toward him.
Hak gave the tiniest of smirks. "Trust me. It only gets better." He walked to the door, closing it tightly behind him. He nodded to the guards. If she tried anything to get out, they had the right to do anything to keep her in.
He turned his head to the bars. "Good night." He swung his weapon of his shoulder, walking to the room in the palace he had stayed in for five years. He entered it, sitting on his bed before changing into his usual sleepwear. He rested the weapon against the wall, sighing before he fell asleep.
"it was night, and the rain fell; and falling, it was rain, but, having fallen,
it was blood."
Karin yawned as she woke up hidden under the blankets and wrapped in a tight ball. The female blinked a few times and cuddled the blankets closer as she moved the hood enough to show her green eyes. She narrowed her eyes and hissed at the sun as she turned away and then sighed.
"Eh.. oh ya, i'm in prison that's right." she said as she sighed, and hid under the blankets. I wonder how Hak is doing.. and if last night made it awkward god why the hell did I say that?! I can't be falling for a member for Earth tribe! Can I...?
Hak was almost surprised that he wasn't woken up that night. He was almost sure that Karin would try to escape from jail. But, when he woke up, it was on his own. Sitting up, he stretched, yawning. He changed into his normal outfit, walking outside with his hair still messy. He fixed it on the way, rubbing his eyes before standing at the bared window.
"it was night, and the rain fell; and falling, it was rain, but, having fallen,
it was blood."
The female rolled and looked over to see him there. "Hak?" she muttered and rubbed her eyes. "I told you I liked it here." she said and sat up her hood hiding her messed up hair. "Sleep well?" she asked and tilted her head as she stretched wrapping the blankets around her.
"Oh sorry about the end of last night.." she said.
Hak shrugged at her. "It was decent." he said. He rolled his eyes when she mentioned last night. "Remember, don't dwell on the past." he said, stepping away from the bars. He opened the door, stopping in front of it. He had his weapon strapped to his back, his hands on his sides.
"Today you're going to learn how to help people. Not murder." he said, stepping to the side to let her out. "One wrong move, though, and I will be sure to throw you back in here. Or maybe even the river."
"it was night, and the rain fell; and falling, it was rain, but, having fallen,
it was blood."
"I wouldn't suggest that. Just because I'm in water tribe means nothing. I can't swim." she said and then blushed and left the blankets as she ducked her head to hide the blush. "Thank you though for offering to help me." she said and slid out of the walls and looked at him. "But how? Your tribe knows Im a prisoner." she said and stretched her arms out then winced and hissed at the light again.
Hak shrugged. "Even if you can't swim, I'll find a way to tell you that what you did is wrong." The dark-haired man walked away from the prison, heading towards the farming area of the tribe. "They know. But, they know that I am your escort. When I escort someone, they know that the person is in total control."
He stopped beside the fields, turning his body to her but his head to the field. A small smile was on his face, his hands still resting on his sides. "Here we are. Today, you're going to harvest." he said. "There's not much since it's a bit cold, but it'll do you good."
"it was night, and the rain fell; and falling, it was rain, but, having fallen,
it was blood."
"Wha-Hey!" she said and glared at him. "I will pull you into the river with me." she said with a growl she then shook her head and walked beside him as people looked at her and she growled lowly looking down at the ground as she continued forward the looked at the farm.
She put her hand up to her chest. "Wow wow what?! Is this what you earth tribe people do?!" she questioned.
"Unlike you, I can swim. So, I can save myself if you drag me in with you." Hak paused at her question. How should he explain this. "Well, only the lower class farm. You see, the Earth Tribe is the richest tribe because of the princess. She lives here, as well as her father had before he died. A lot of the people here are rich. Some still have to farm, though." he said.
"Now, get to picking." He entered the field as well, leaning down to harvest some of the crops.
"it was night, and the rain fell; and falling, it was rain, but, having fallen,
it was blood."
The female shook her head as she listened him and then leaned down as she began to harvest some crops. However, she didn't know how to. So here Karin was pulling at a carrot and then she fell back with a squeak and let out a oof as she flung her legs around from being startled as she felt her leg connect with someone else's.
"Oh god Hak!" she cried out as she hit her back and lay there holding the carrot on her left hand that was spiraled out.
